Anza Borrego on Black and White Film

A Photo Series By Kate Ferguson

Where: Anza Borrego State Park, San Diego County. A three-hour drive (theoretically) from L.A., although leaving midday on a Saturday, mine took six.

Who: Some of my family.

What: We stayed at an Airbnb in the Borrego Springs area, went out to eat, and went hiking at the Wind Caves Trail in Anza Borrego State Park. Many of these images were captured on that hike, as well as the journey coming and going to get to the trailhead, which is many miles and was rather slow going in my dad’s Lexus.

Photo Supplies: an old Canon and an old roll of black and white film: Ilford Pan F Plus ISO 50/18.
